For each of the groups that you choose to join, you'll have the option to enable email notification.  You would have the option to receive every message, a daily summary, or a combined update (25 messages per email)

  1. Browse to
  2. Click the group where you want to change your email notification setting
  3. You may need to sign in if you haven't already done so
  4. In the upper right corner, there are two buttons that look like the ones at the bottom of this page. Click the one of the left that looks like a person and a gear together.
  5. Select Membership and Email Settings
  6. Select your new email notification option using the drop down menu
    1. Don't send email updates
    2. Send daily summaries
    3. Send combined updates (25 messages per email)
    4. Send me an email for every new message
  7. Click Save
  8. Repeat this process for the other Google discussion groups if you'd your change email notification setting for those as well. Each one is managed separately.
